So what does Light Touch Reflexology involve.....Before the first treatment, I meet with my clients to get a general overview of your health, well being and lifestyle. Following this you will be asked to lie comfortably, fully clothed, on the treatment couch in order for me to observe your feet and begin the treatment. Gentle pressure is applied to the reflexes of the feet which should not be uncomfortable. A firmer pressure can be applied if this is something that you would prefer.
What Might You Experience?
Responses to reflexology treatments vary from person to person, generally, most clients will feel relaxed during the treatment. Light Touch Reflexology is very gentle, many clients will drift in to a deep state of relaxation and find the experience soothing and calming. As a result, It is not uncommon to feel drowsy or possibly light headed and maybe also a little thirsty following a treatment.
How Will I Feel After A Treatment?
After a treatment you may wish to sit quietly for a few minutes and sip some water to flush through any toxins that may have been released during the treatment. This can also help you to feel more grounded after a treatment. If you do experience any symptoms that you are concernered or unsure about following a treatment please do not hesitate to contact me on 07713906939 or alternatively email me at [email protected]
How Many treatments Will I Need?
The number of treatments and frequency of treatments depends largely on the individual and your reasons for seeking reflexology. If you have a specific issue that you are seeking to address, generally , a course of weekly basis is recommended. Thereafter, clients may return on a monthly basis or more frequently if desired it is entirely your own choice.
I am very flexible and if a course of weekly treatments feels like too much of a commitment then we can discuss something that it is more suitable for your needs. Many of my clients seek relaxation and make time once a month to have a treatment. I will always tailor a treatment plan to your needs and will never expect you to commit to something that is not going to be of benefit to you.
